All the fashionistas came out to celebrate Essence's Presents Black Women in music. Chaka Khan, Brandy and Lianne La Havas were the lineup for our annual ESSENCE Black Women in Music ceremony. The night was honored to Jill Scott, in celebrating the best and brightest moments in Black music over ESSENCE's 45-year history. The 6th annual event recognizes the achievements of the generations of Black women singers who have inspired and paved the way. Jill Scott has definitely paved the way for many singers and she has always stayed true to herself. Essence magazine will forever be apart of our world because they gave women of color a strong, fierce voice. Thank you Essence!
