AfroPunk Fest 2015

AFROPUNK 2015 returned to Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park, also known as City Park, for a weekend of live music, vibrant art and good vibes on this past weekend. Described by the New York Times as “the most multicultural festival in the US,” the word AFROPUNK itself has become synonymous with open minded, non conforming and unconventional, placing the institution at the epicenter of urban culture inspired by alternative music. AfroPunk was so live this year with performances from Kelis, Lauryn Hill, Sza, Grace Jones and so many more. One thing with AfroPunk is you can count on the fashion. Everyone is so unique and its a beautiful thing to see.
Take a look at some of my favorite looks above.
