Diandra Forrest is a supermodel in her own right. The African-American model and actress is the first female model with albinism to be signed to a major modelling agency.
It is not easy being a person with albinism because of the lack of understanding of what the condition is, even in the modelling industry.

People with albinism are looked at as something that is maybe extra-terrestrial, an odd beauty, not just a regular beauty, whatever that is. Diandra is a extraordinary beauty and one of my absolute favorite models. She is that role model for the young girl who feels she is different and the truth is she is. Everyone in the world is different and instead of downing our differences we need to celebrate them. Thank you Diandra for always staying true to yourself.
